Global Brigades is an international non-profit that empowers communities to meet their health and economic goals through university volunteers and local teams. We work alongside rural community members to achieve their core development goals through integrated health, water and sanitation, and economic development programs. Based on its Holistic Model, Global Brigades’ mission is to sustainably transition out of each community once it has met development objectives relying on both the strong buy-in of the community members and a dedicated in-country staff.
Role Overview:
As a Content Creator Intern, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our mission, sharing impactful stories, and engaging our audience across various digital platforms. This internship offers a unique opportunity to combine your creativity, storytelling skills, and passion for global health in support of Global Brigades’ mission. This internship reports to the Marketing Associate.

Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content
- Demonstrated growth on a personal or professional social account
- Aptitude for digital marketing, experience with Instagram and TikTok required
- Capable of gaining fluency in Global Brigades messaging. Previous volunteer or Chapter Leader experience preferred
- Clarity, professionalism, friendliness, and approachability in communication tone
- Available to attend weekly meetings and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment
- Organized and have excellent time management skills
- Pursuing or have a degree in Communication, Marketing, or Business, or Pre-Med, Biology, or on the Pre-Med track preferred
Duration & Compensation:
This is a part-time, unpaid internship opportunity with flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules and other commitments.This role will require 10 documented hours each week over the duration of this internship. The internship duration typically ranges from 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of extension or promotion to a paid part- or full-time position, based on performance and organizational needs.
